Following a referral from local custom pool builder, Coastal Foundation Solutions was contacted to secure the foundation of a new custom swimming pool for a residence in Naples Florida. As the home was located on the coast of the Gulf, a specific support system was requested to ensure the client’s swimming pool had a stable foundation in which to rest.

ANALYSIS

Coastal Foundation Solutions consulted with the project manager and presented a solution to their swimming pool stabilization issue. Helical piles were the recommended method for foundation stabilization and were ultimately implemented.

SOLUTION

Once approved, our swimming pool foundation specialists went to work installing helical piles to support this customers swimming pool foundation. 12 helicals were installed to a depth of 14 foot with a compression capacity of 12 tons. Two of these piles went past the anticipated 14 foot depth. With a questionable soil condition, utilizing helical piles in an application such as this provides peace of mind with immense support for the weight swimming pools disperse on the surrounding area.

RESULT

Helical anchors were installed with minimal disruption to the job site and surrounding areas. Utilizing our specialized equipment, our technicians can efficiently and effectively provide an unmatched level of foundation support in tight spaces (such as backyards) for a variety of applications. Fast installation times allow the project’s pool contractor to only experience 1 to 2 days of down time while the foundation for their project is structured.
