Helical Pile Benefits

NO DEPTH CONSTRAINTS
Helical piles are drilled in seven foot lead sections with three to seven foot extensions with no limit to penetration. The loading of the pile is calculated as it is installed, and additional extensions are added on until the required loading is achieved. Depth may fluctuate from pile to pile, but this technique ensures the piling are not installed past depth requirements.
MINIMAL CONCRETE

If concrete is to be applied at all, it is only used to stabilize the upper portion of the piling – whether it be in a shallow footing or a separate pile cap. This conserves time as there is minimal excavation and waiting time for concrete to set.

NO OVER DESIGNING
Individually each helical pile is drilled down to a specified torque or PSI which is analyzed from the engineers required loading. Each piling load capacity is known at all stages of installation; we drill to a depth which is defined by the engineers loading prerequisites. These depths are all contingent on the ground’s soil condition in each precise location which they are installed.
INSIGNIFICANT EXCAVATION

Piles can be drilled into the existing ground contour or a pre-excavated platform. When the piles are put in, no spoil removal is required from the pile locations. Helical piling work may proceed in any type of weather conditions.
