ANALYSIS

Throughout the state of Florida, Coastal Foundation Solutions is widely regarded as an expert in helical pile applications. With an unmatched level of experience installing helicals for swimming pool new construction projects, our office was contacted by a longtime client to develop a support structure for the homeowner they were serving in sunny Naples Florida.

SOLUTION

Once contracted, our team went to work and mobilized on-site in Naples Florida to install 8 helical piles for the proposed swimming pool project. As with many swimming pool foundation projects prior to this one, we recognize the need for a soil boring evaluation to provide some transparency on what we would encounter once installing. The client elected to not have a soil boring test conducted prior to construction, which we often recommend to understand the depth variances that would be needed to properly anchor and torque helicals.

RESULT

Utilizing state of the art equipment, our team installed eight (8) helical pilings on site. Depths for these piles ranged from 21 feet to 70 feet to meet and achieve the proper torque specifications to provide exemplary support for the future swimming pool to be installed. Once installed, galvanized termination caps were welded in place and the project was completed within record time, saving our client both time and money.
