NAPLES FLORIDA GENERATOR PAD STABILIZATION
HELICAL SUPPORT FOR RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMER
PROJECT INFORMATION
ANALYSIS
In April of 2021, our office was contracted to provide helical support for a generator pad aside a residential home in Naples Florida. As Coastal Foundation Solutions is highly regarded as Southwest Florida’s foundation contractor, we were selected for this particular job by the project’s lead contractor, August General Contracting, due to our vast experience working with helicals in various SWFL soil conditions.
SOLUTION
With specific constraints amongst underground utilities, our specialized equipment was utilized to ensure minimal disruption to the job site to install two (2) helical pilings to a set depth prior to the pouring of a concrete pad.
RESULT
Within less than a day, our team mobilized and visited the residence in Naples Florida. We installed two (2) helical pilings to a proposed depth of 14 foot. At this depth, the installed helicals boast a load capacity of 6 tons, allowing for the appropriate support of the concrete pad and generator that were soon to follow.
