PELICAN ISLE YACHT CLUB SEAWALL REPAIR
REMEDIATION FOR A COMMERCIALLY USED NAPLES SEAWALL

ANALYSIS
Coastal Foundation Solutions was recently contracted to aid in the remediation of a seawall for the Pelican Isle Yacht Club, in Naples Florida in order to stabilize the existing area and structure proper drainage. By implementing deep foam injection, we’re able to quickly and effectively stabilize damaged seawalls caused by erosion.
SOLUTION
In order to properly fix the seawall, our team recommended and implemented the use of deep foam injection paired with weep hole filtration in (25) twenty-five seawall areas along the wall. These cost-effective solutions will remedy the seawall’s issues in a fast, resourceful manner.
RESULT
Once contracted, our team staged the project and went to work. Poly foam was injected into areas of concern which efficiently replaced the soils adjacent to and behind the seawall creating a strong bond to strengthen the area. Once complete, weep holes were installed to relieve pressure and properly drain water collecting behind the wall.
