HELICAL PILES FOR A PRIVATE RESIDENCE

ANALYSIS
The city of Sanibel is situated on Sanibel Island off the coast of Southwest Florida. Known for it’s beautiful beaches, endless amenities, and prime real estate, Sanibel is one of the most desirable places to live in the state. When a private residence on the island needed support for a new generator pad, our team was called.
SOLUTION
While working with M.A.B. Homes, LLC, a stabilization was formulated to use helical piles to provide the appropriate support needed prior to installing a new generator pad at this Sanibel Residence. New foundation piles were installed with a vertical alignment. These piles were initially installed uncut or capped with new construction brackets. Once the installation was complete, our team visited the job site at a later date to cut and cap new construction brackets on the helicals.
RESULT
Coastal Foundation Solutions installed new foundation helical pilings to a 14 foot depth, 10 ton capacity to establish foundation support for the proposed generator pad. This level of support will ensure that the pad holds an appropriate foundation for the homeowner’s generator.
