HELICAL PILE INSTALLATION FOR SWIMMING POOL FOUNDATION
PROJECT INFORMATION
ANALYSIS
Coastal Foundation Solutions was recently contracted to develop a support system for a swimming pool to be installed in unstable soil conditions. Having vast experience working in Naples Florida, our team was hired to work alongside Brad Kovach with D. Garrett Construction, Inc. to help with the projects foundation needs.
SOLUTION
In order to provide proper support, new foundation helical pilings were selected and strategically laid out for installation prior of the installation of a residential swimming pool for this Naples Florida residence.
RESULT
Once contracted, our team went to work installing helical piles to a 28-foot depth, 10 ton capacity. While the piles originally anticipated for the project did not reach the necessary torque, our team installed the appropriate 7 foot pile extensions to meet the required torque for the installed helicals ensuring a proper support system for the beautiful swimming pool about to begin construction.
