HELICALS FOR FOUNDATION SUPPORT AT FMB

ANALYSIS
Fort Myers Beach experienced significant destruction at the hands of Hurricane Ian in 2022. Local and state contractors, along with residents, have diligently worked to rebuild the community better than before. Our crews have completed extensive work over the past 8 months in the area installing helical piles to support foundations for homes, helical tiebacks to provide structural support for seawalls, all while providing aid where we can for residents throughout the area.
Our team was recently contacted with a task to help provide exceptional foundation support for a beautiful beachfront residence. As a premier foundation support contractor in Southwest Florida, were happy to assist with the project.
SOLUTION
With tight quarters in which to work, our team was selected to install helicals to provide the appropriate support required for this home. Utilizing our specialized equipment, we are able to install helicals into the existing soils with minimal disruption to the job site and adjacent areas.
RESULT
Once mobilized onto the job site, we utilized our mini skid steer to install (7) seven helical piles along with the necessary extensions to reach the torque necessary (15-ton capacity) to stabilize the foundation. The project was completed in record time by our crews!
