ANALYSIS

Our office was contacted to aid in the support of a residential swimming pool deck that was showing visible signs of sinking. As the deck was already installed, this limited the ability to structurally support the deck as a whole.

SOLUTION

Once the situation was assessed, our team deemed it appropriate to utilize our foam injection capabilities to create an appropriate support structure for the currently sinking swimming pool deck.

RESULT

Our team injected AP Fill 700 foam into seventeen (17) locations to fill voids within the existing swimming pool deck. Once injected, this foam expands and fills densifies existing soils which creates a heavier soil capacity and a stronger foundation for the deck to reside upon. This in turn provides a cost-effective means of supporting the deck area without a need for general construction to take place to remedy the issue using additional methods.
