Seawall Savers™ was contracted to address severe voids, erosion, and structural instability threatening the seawall at Four Winds Marina. This high-traffic marina faced increasing risk due to tidal stress, blocked drainage, and soil loss—all common issues in aging Florida marina seawalls.

The Challenge: Subsurface Erosion & Seawall Instability

The marina’s 30+ year-old seawall, located behind multiple boat racks, was under significant stress from environmental and structural factors:

🔹 Hydrostatic Pressure: Clogged weep holes caused water pressure buildup behind the wall.

Using a combination of site inspection, geotechnical analysis, and hydrostatic testing, our marine engineers diagnosed the root causes behind the damage:

• Subsurface Voids: Located behind seawall panels using soil probes and hydro-locating tools.
• Seawall Seam Soil Loss: Caused by saltwater infiltration and lack of protective coatings.
